OKLAHOMA CITY – The awards keep trickling in for Mid-America Christian University freshman goalkeeper Madison Donihoo, as Tuesday she has been named both the NAIA and NCCAA Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, both organizations have announced.

This is the third NCCAA honor for Donihoo this season after picking up her second Sooner Athletic Conference award on Monday.

Donihoo continued her stellar play in the net this past week by recording her second and third shutouts this season.

The Mustang, Okla. native made three saves in a 1-0 victory over Texas College last Friday (Sept. 23) before stopping a career-best 11 shots as the Lady Evangels settled for a 0-0 draw with Bethel College on Sunday.

For the season, Donihoo is second in the Sooner Athletic Conference in shutouts (3), saves (42) and saves per game (6.00) while ranking fifth in goals-against-average (1.61).

Donihoo and the Lady Evangels are next set to host John Brown University Wednesday afternoon (Sept. 28) at 1 p.m. at Evangel Field.
