OKLAHOMA CITY —  Mid-America Christian University senior Becca Anderson has been selected to the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) All-Central Region team, the organization announced yesterday (Dec. 19).

Anderson helped the Lady Evangels advance to the NCCAA Central Regional title match for the first time since 2009 by ranking second on the team in kills (188) despite missing the final six matches of the season with an injury.

The Cleburne, Texas native also led the team in solo blocks (31) and tied for team-high honors in total blocks (137).  Her 137 blocks tied for second in the Sooner Athletic Conference and her 1.49 blocks per game ranks fifth in NAIA Division I.  Anderson holds the MACU career record for blocks (397) and is second all-time in kills (761) since the school joined the NAIA.

Anderson also played a key role in helping the Lady Evangels record their most victories this season (18) since the program joined the NAIA.
