Happy Monday!
• Folks in Weatherford and Alva are happy after their basketball teams’ performances this past week. Both the women’s and men’s from Northwestern and Southwestern are 2-0 in Great American Conference play. Only the SWOSU women have an overall record (6-1) above .500.
• Congratulations to Northeastern State’s Bo White, who was named to the Daktronics All-America First Team in Division II men’s soccer. The senior from Durant was also the MIAA Player of the Year.
• Kevi Luper has been named the Southland Conference Player of the Week for the second week this season. The SLC is probably as excited to have the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles in the conference this year as the rest of the conference is less than excited to have to face Luper twice during the regular season.
