Niederer has high-point day during Classic Bowl XXIX girls basketball games

WOODWARD – Okarche’s Kinsey Neiderer put up 13 points on the day, leading the White Team to a 44-23 win over the Red Team in the first game of the day at Classic Bowl XXIX.

In the second game, the White Team also got the victory over the Red Team, in this one winning, 54-37. Alva’s Whitney Randall and Garber’s Halie Schovanec each had a game-high 10 points.

Other awards given out during the day were: Player of the Year – Rebecca Wasson, Kremlin-Hillsdale; and Coach(es) of the Year – Kevin Richardson, Canadian (Texas), and Tara Gregg, Kremlin-Hillsdale. Burlington’s Kelsi Smith won the three-point contest. And the Classic Bowl Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 was given to Addison Rowley of Woodward.
