The Player of the Week awards in the Central States Football League stayed within the Sooner State following this weekend’s games.

Langston’s Sheldon Augustine took the Offensive Player of the Week.  He had seven receptions for 147 yards, averaging 21 yards per catch.

Keshaun Malone was tabbed the Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season.  It was also the fifth time in six weeks that a Bacone defender has received this honor.  Malone had 15 tackles in the Warriors’ loss to Oklahoma Baptist on Saturday.

Trey Tully did his part for OBU, as the Bison beat Bacone, 26-7.  His Special Teams Player of the Week nod is the fifth this season.  Tully had two PATs and placed two onside kicks so that his team was able to recover.
