The Sooners rose slightly in this week’s rankings in the new College Football Playoff poll.
OU is up to No. 15 in the Nov. 4 edition of the top 25 put together by a 13-person committee. Â The top four will compete in the first NCAA Division I playoffs in January 2015.
Oklahoma was in the first poll at No. 18.
The top four this week are (in order): Mississippi State, Florida State, Auburn and Oregon. Â The Ducks are the only newcomers, moving up one spot following Mississippi’s loss to Auburn and subsequent fall in the poll.
Oklahoma is second highest-ranked team with two losses. Â Ole Miss has two losses as well and in No. 11
