This week’s Oklahoma college Players of the Week, presented by First United Bank, are Anna Mikish, OCU, and Isaiah Mallory, OBU.
Anna Mikish, senior, Oklahoma City (Choctaw H.S.)
The OCU women’s golf team was at State College, Pa., this weekend to compete in the Nittany Lion Invitational against a field comprised of, other than OCU, NCAA Division I teams. Mikish finish 10th overall individually (75-78-72) and led her team to a sixth place finish, ahead of three D-I teams.
Isaiah Mallory, sophomore, Oklahoma Baptist
Mallory set a school record for rushing yards on Saturday as he helped the Bison to a triple-overtime 36-34 win at East Central. The sophomore carried the ball 27 times for 236 yards and two touchdowns, with one of those being an 86-yard strike in the third quarter.
