Today, the Oklahoma Wesleyan family joins Bartlesville radio and followers of Nowata, Dewey, and other area sports in mourning the passing of sports broadcaster Adam Hooper.

“Adam was one of the nicest, most kind-hearted, and most genuine people that I’ve ever met,” shared OKWU Athletics Director Mark Molder. “Adam’s love for OKWU and OKWU Athletics was second to none.  He will always carry a spot close to our hearts and will be missed greatly.”

Adam has been part of the KWON-KYFM-KRIG-KPGM broadcast family since 2005 and considered his broadcast of national championship games for Oklahoma Wesleyan one of the highlights of his career. Through his work and association with the players and their families, he developed many friends at OKWU and beyond.

Funeral services are pending and will be announced by his friend and sports color announcer, Tim Howell at the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home.
