Logan Domenico went 3 for 4 and had a pair of RBIs on Wednesday to help Oral Roberts take its first game in the Southland Conference tournament.
The Golden Eagles won 4-2, advancing to face Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Thursday at 4 p.m.
Third-seeded ORU moves to 24-30 on the year and came into the tournament with the ninth best overall record in the 10-team league. But the Golden Eagles have now won 10 of their last 14 games and carry momentum into the conference tournament.
Alex Gonzalez, SLC Pitcher of the Year, worked six innings and picked up the win.
