OU at No. 5 in final AP poll, OSU stays just within top 20

The college football season is now over.

With Alabama’s 45-40 win over Clemson in the College Football Playoff national championship game, the Crimson Tide laid claim to the national title for 2015.

And in the final AP Top 25 Football Poll, Alabama is also at the top.

Oklahoma was ranked in the top five – at No. 5 – in the final poll for the first time since 2008.

The Sooners finished at 11-2, with losses only to Texas and Clemson. OU also claimed another Big 12 title.

Oklahoma State ended the season on a slide, but was still among the top 20 in the poll.

OSU (10-3) finished at No. 20, although the Cowboys dropped their final three games, against Baylor, Oklahoma and Mississippi.
