The top 16 advanced from the first round of the 400m at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore., on Friday.
OU junior Daye Shon Robinson had the 16th best time and moves on to the semifinals.
Robinson ran in the first of four heats on the day and put up at time of 52.49 to qualify. Her personal best is 51.37 and she had a time of 51.42 at the Payton Jordan Invitational at Stanford on May 1.
The next round of the 400m competition is Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
