This week’s Players of the Week are Emily Williams, SOSU, and Tharone Chilton, OCU.
Emily Williams, senior, Southeastern
Williams averaged 20 points, 9.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists in two wins this week. The senior put up 23 points and grabbed 13 boards against Ouachita Baptist. Then on Senior Day, Williams scored 17 with seven rebounds and six assists in a win over No. 24 Arkansas Tech.
Tharone Chilton, senior, Oklahoma City (Hometown: Tulsa)
Chilton led the Stars to two more wins (OCU has won nine of its last 10), averaging 25 points per game. Â He dropped 31 points on St. Gregory’s while dishing out 10 assists. In OCU’s win over USAO, Chilton had 19 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
