The Northwestern Rangers are headed in 2016 with much to be excited about.

The team is returning a quarterback in Reid Miller, who was healthy for the enitre season and broke a few passing records along the way, including passing yards for a season (3,259) and passing touchdowns for a season (30).

On defense for NWOSU, Joby Saint Fluer is back for his senior campaign, coming off an impressive year garnering All-GAC, All-Region and All-American honors. He led the conference with 10.5 sacks on the year.

It will be the second season for head coach Matt Walter, who returned to his alma mater last year and led the program to a 3-8 record.

The Rangers’ schedule mirrors that of the 2015 season and there will be only five home contests. But fans will get a chance to have a preview of what they might see in the fall with the spring game set for Saturday, Apr. 23.
