Oklahoma Christian hosted the National Christian College Athletics Association central region bracket and took advantage of playing two more games at home.
The Lady Eagles defeated Southwestern Assemblies of God and Mid-America Christian to advance to play in the national bracket.
OC was 12-1 in the Payne Center in 2013-2014.
The top seed in the region, OC (17-11) beat the No. 4 seed SAGU, 72-46. The Lady Eagles hit 10 three-pointers, led by Logan McKee, who made four and had a team high 12 points on the night.
Oklahoma Christian took down former Sooner Athletic Conference foe MACU, 83-73, in the title game. Roz Hamilton recorded a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
It’s the second consecutive regional championship for the Lady Eagles, who are the No. 4 seed in the eight-team national bracket.
OC will face fifth seeded Roberts Wesleyan [N.Y.] (14-12) in the quarterfinal Wednesday in Winona Lake, Ind.
