The Oklahoma Sooners have been picked as the Big 12 preseason favorites in 2014, according to the poll of media representative who cover the conference.
OU received 538 points and 47 first-place votes, as 20 starters return for the Sooners.
Oklahoma is followed by Baylor, Kansas State and Texas
Oklahoma State comes in at No. 5 in the preseason rankings, garnering 312 points
OU, OSU and Texas finished in a three-way tie for second place in the league in 2013 at 7-2 behind Baylor. Â The Bears went 8-1 in the Big 12, losing only to OSU.
