Oklahoma ascended to the top of the AP poll last Monday afternoon. And lost to Iowa State on Monday night.
But the Sooners are still considered the No. 1 team in the country one week later.
Oklahoma (16-2) stayed at the top of the AP Top 25 Men’s College Basketball poll for a second week. The Sooners received 36 of 65 first-place votes and collected six more points than North Carolina (18-2) to remain at the top.
OU bounced back from a tough 82-77 loss at Iowa State with a dominating 82-72 win at then-No. 13 Baylor.
The Sooners are back in the Lloyd Noble Center on Tuesday to host Texas Tech. The tip time is 6 p.m. and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.
