The Southeastern Regional Invitational is set for 2017. The forecast shows that the weather might be cooperative this year and there will be 18 teams competing in this season-opening event on Feb. 3-5.
The Invitational will be held in Durant, Okla., and games will be played on five fields: Fields 5, 6, 7 and 8 at the Durant Multi-Sports Complex and also at the Southeastern softball team’s home field.
Teams from the Central and South Central regions and representing six states make up the field – Arkansas Tech, Cameron, Central Missouri, Central Oklahoma, East Central, Eastern New Mexico, Emporia State, Midwestern State, Missouri Southern, Oklahoma Christian, Pittsburg State, Rockhurst, St. Edward’s, St. Mary’s, Southern Nazarene, Southwestern, Texas A&M-International and the host school, Southeastern.
