• Hometown: Edmond, Okla.
• Marketing major expected to graduate May 2020
• Favorite team: OKC Thunder, Oklahoma Sooners, and of course, SWOSU Bulldogs
• Favorite sports moment – personal: High School- winning a State Championship my sophomore year
College – Going 3-0 in a weekend against Arkansas Tech, Harding, and Lubbock Christian (who were each near the top of their conference at the time)
• Favorite sports moment – overall: Watching the U.S. compete in the Olympics in 2012 & 2016 in all categories
• What do you like most about SWOSU? “I really love the family atmosphere that illuminates here at SWOSU. I have only been here for a year but I feel like it’s been forever. Everyone is very welcoming and I have met lots of people and have gotten very involved in SWOSU activities. I mean who wouldn’t want to be a DAWG.”
• Who do you most look up to? “I look up to my parents. They both have sacrificed so much in order for me to live out my dreams. They are very selfless and loving and will do anything they can in order to help me succeed. They are my biggest supporters and my best friends. I have learned many things that I not only use in life from them, but I also use on the volleyball court. They taught me how to be a leader and how to love others.”
• Goals:
- I would like to win our Conference and make it to the national tournament before I graduate
- I would like to continue to improve in my leadership abilities as well as in my physical abilities.
- I would love to learn to play the game ever better than I do now and to keep getting better each year.
- I want to graduate with my degree and have a steady job.
- I want to not only be the best teammate for my team, but I also want to be a friend to everyone I meet
