• Favorite sports moment – personal: “When we went to a cross country meet in Tabor, Kan., not expecting to place or compete. It was our first 8k of the season and I led the team to a second place finish and the team ran some unbelievable fast times and everybody was surprised.”
• Favorite sports moment – overall: “It was watching Chris O’Hare of Tulsa University racing the mile in college. The guy ran so controlled and relaxed. I wanted to become a miler in Oklahoma.”
• What do you like most about SNU? “I admire how the school is supportive and always there for you especially the coaches. Everybody never gives up on you and they provide you with the best resources and facilities to succeed as both a student and athlete.”
• Who do you most look up to? “I look up to my mom. She’s my strength and the reason I push hard everyday even in my tough times. And I also look up to our coach, Jill Lancaster, the person who gives me the confidence that I can push past my limits.”
• Goals: “I hope to lead the team in some races this upcoming seasons, break a school record, All-GAC, All-American Academic and my ultimate goal is for my school and the rest of northwestern Oklahoma to remember my name.”
