This week, a bill was introduced to the Oklahoma House for the 60th Legislature to consider.
The bill, Oklahoma 2025 HB1017, sponsored by Rep. Anthony Moore, is written to create a commission to conduct analysis of the feasibility of establishing an intercollegiate athletic conference comprised exclusively of NCAA Division II programs.

The schools that would be required to participate in this conference would be: Cameron, East Central, Northeastern State, Northwestern, Oklahoma Baptist, Oklahoma Christian, Rogers State, Southeastern, Southern Nazarene and Southwestern.
