The Rogers State Hillcats will open the 2013 NAIA World Series with what is essentially a road game.
RSU is the No. 10 seed in the 10-team tournament and faces the host school Lewis-Clark State in Lewiston, Idaho, on Friday, May 24.
The Hillcats are 35-22 on the season. Missouri Baptist (35-12) is the No. 9 seed and the only other team in the bracket with less than 41 wins on the season.
Rogers State was the No. 9 seed in the 2012 NAIA World Series and finished as the national runners-up.
The winner of the contest will meet No. 2 seed Lee University.
