TULSA – The Oral Roberts men’s soccer team tied Tulsa, 3-3, Tuesday evening at the Hurricane Soccer Stadium.
Tulsa’s Munashe Raranje scored the first goal for the Golden Hurricane when he scored from 20 yards out at the 21 minute mark.
ORU (6-6-2) tied the match in the second half at the 67 minute mark when Matthew Rogers scored his third goal of the season off of a crossbar deflection that was shot by Colton Haskin. Haskin was credited with the assist.
Isaac Fraley put ORU up 2-1 at the 78 minute mark when he scored off of a Santiago Riveros free kick. Riveros was credited with an assist and it was his eighth of the season.
Tulsa’s Koray Easterling answered with a goal to tie the game 2-2 at the 81 minute mark from five yards out.
Santiago Riveros put the Golden Eagles up 3-2 at the 85 minute mark when he scored off of a 40 yard free kick.
The Golden Hurricane (7-4-3) answered and made the score 3-3 with four minutes remaining in the second half when Matthew Puig scored on a penalty kick.
