The NAIA-champion Oklahoma City University Stars will have the first crack at stopping the Baylor Lady Bears’ 40-game winning streak. The two meet Oct. 30 in Waco, Texas in exhibition play as the Stars debut a new head coach, Latricia Trammell.
In past seasons, OCU has played stiff Big 12 competition in the exhibition season, losing to Kansas State 63-51 and Texas A&M 84-63 in the 2011-12 campaign. In 2010-11, the Stars nearly knocked off Missouri as the Tigers skated away with 68-66 win after a buzzer-beating 3-pointer missed its mark. A trip to Texas A&M was also on the docket in 2009-10 where the Aggies won 84-52.
