The Rogers State Hillcats are making a return trip to the NAIA World Series.
RSU cruised through the Claremore bracket, taking down top seed Lubbock Christian, 8-4, in the championship game Saturday.
Senior Kyle Duncan pitched the complete game, giving up four earned runs, while striking out four and walking three.
Colton Campbell and Jose Olazagasti took care of business at the plate. Campbell went 5 for 5 with a pair of doubles, while Olazagasti homered in the first to put the Hillcats on the board and had 3 RBI total.
RSU outscored its opponents, 39-15, in the four games played in the Charemore bracket.
Rogers State will next play in the 10-team NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho, which will be played May 24-31. The Hillcats finished as the national runners-up in 2012.
