SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Ebba Moberg was NSU’s lone highlight in their spring opener on Monday at the Lady Rattler Invitational and is tied for sixth place carding a 75. Northeastern State is in the back-half of the field in 12th, scoring a season high 327.
Moberg was three-over and eight shots better than the next NSU individual score, and had two of the team’s three birdies on Monday.
Lexi Armon had the RiverHawks’ best score with an 83, Sumie Francois was one stroke behind, and Kelsey Lumpkin scored an 85. Fiona Hakanen shot an 88 in her second tournament of the year.
Dallas Baptist presently is pacing the 17 team field with a 294 and holds a 12-stroke lead over tournament host St. Mary’s.
For the overall medalist title, StMU’s Kelly Contreras and DBU’s Ann Parmerter are tied for first with matching 71 scores.
Play concludes on Tuesday at 8 a.m. with the final round.
