BARTLESVILLE – The No. 1 ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan men’s soccer team kept their winning streak alive as they defeated Tabor College by a score of 3-0.
The Eagles now hold a 31-match undefeated streak, which is the second longest streak in the NAIA.
Three different players scored goals for No. 1 Oklahoma Wesleyan en their route to victory. Jovan Petrovic, Fernando Machado, and Alberto Picchi were each of the goal scorers for the Eagles. Perica Obradovic and Aleksander Simovic each recorded an assist in the match to get their names on the stat sheet. Luka Stojanovic made another start in goal once again as he recorded two saves in his 90 minutes of work. As a team, OKWU put up a total of 23 shots, with eight of those on target. The Eagles only committed eight fouls, and had seven corner kick opportunities.

With the win, No. 1 Oklahoma Wesleyan is now 15-0-1 on the season and a perfect 9-0 in conference play.
The Eagles will return tot he pitch on Saturday, October 29th as they host Friends University on Homecoming. Kick-off against the Falcons is scheduled for 3:00pm at the OKWU Soccer Complex.
