This week’s Oklahoma college Players of the Week, presented by First United Bank, are ss Mora, ECU, Shane Truelove, OPSU; and asdf Harvey, RSU.
Anna Mora, sophomore, East Central
Mora was the top overall finisher in a time of 17:56.40, almost five seconds faster than the second place finisher. The sophomore earned GAC Runner of the Year and All-GAC First Team honors in the process.
Shane Truelove, senior, Oklahoma Panhandle
The Aggies put up 750 yards of total offense, with a school record 610 of those yards coming from the arm of Truelove. The senior was 40-of-49 through the air and had four passing touchdowns with no interceptions. Truelove also ran in a touchdown as well in the 54-44 win over Texas-Permian Basin.
Baylor Harvey, junior, Rogers State (Cleveland H.S.)
Harvey lowered his own school record and repeated as the conference champion. He last won the race in 2014, his second straight conference win as he redshirted in 2015. The junior won by 23 seconds and lowered the school record to 24:21.7 in the 8,000 meter race and was also named the Heartland Conference Runner of the Year and First Team All-Conference.
