Several players with Oklahoma ties were honored this week on the NCAA Division II Conference Commissioners Association all-region lists.
In women’s basketball, Southwestern’s Hailey Tucker (and former Bartlesville Bruin) was listed on the Central Region First Team.
McKenzie Stanford (Oklahoma Christian and Perkins-Tryon) earned All-Region honors on the Second Team in the South Central Region.
And in men’s basketball, East Central’s Braxton Reeves was named to the Central Region First Team.
In the South Central Region, former Douglass High School standout and current Tarleton State Texan, Romond Jenkins, was placed on the First Team.
John Moon (Oklahoma Christian), Jeylyn Sharpe (Rogers State) and Seth Youngblood (Arkansas-Fort Smith and Roland H.S.) were listed on the Second Team.
