WICHITA, Kan. – Oklahoma Wesleyan has been unanimously selected the top men’s soccer program within the KCAC this preseason by conference coaches.
The Eagles are new to the KCAC for the 2015-16 season and finished the 2014 season with a 14-5-2 overall record and a 4-1 record in the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference. Oklahoma Wesleyan earned a bid to the NAIA Soccer Championship Tournament but lost to Science & Arts, 1-0, in the first round.
Oklahoma Wesleyan collected 10 first place votes and total of 100 votes for the top spot over 2014 KCAC Tournament Champions, the McPherson Bulldogs, who earned 85 points and the last first place vote. Kansas Wesleyan tied with McPherson in total points with 85, while Friends was selected to finish fourth with 73 points.
