The Cowgirls played with a lot of heart, but 40 minutes proved to be too much in Durham, N.C., on Tuesday. Duke rallied to outscore Oklahoma State 47-25 in the second half to advance to the Sweet Sixteen, winning 68-59.
OSU had four players in double figures scoring and led the Blue Devils by 15 right after the half. But the Blue Devils defense kicked into high gear, stifling the OSU offensive production.
Liz Donohoe led Oklahoma State with 14 points. Toni Young had 12 points and eight rebounds in her final game for the Cowgirls.
Oklahoma State finishes the season at 22-11.
