ALVA – Northwestern Oklahoma State University football program adds another successful Signing Day in 2020 as 28 prospective student-athletes made their intentions known by signing their National Letter of Intent to play for the Rangers.
“I want to start by thanking our coaches,” said Head Coach Matt Walter. “They have put in thousands of miles and hundreds of hours of watching film and evaluating all of players. I want to welcome in our 2020 signees into our Northwestern football family. This class is starts upfront, it is loaded with offensive and defensive linemen. The line is where the game is won and lost and we loaded up. We feel that this group fills in a lot of gaps and adds depth with these freshmen, who could potentially play right away. We are really excited to see what these kids can do after going through our summer program and training camp.”
National Signing Day is the first day of the football signing period that runs through the summer and ends of August 1. On the first day of the signing period, the Ranger coaching staff received NLI’s from 15 offensive players and 13 defensive players.
