On the same day that the Southwestern women’s basketball team plays for a national championship, a Southwestern men’s basketball player is making some noise.
SWOSU junior Tre Evans posted on social media on Friday stating that he is looking to explore his possibilities at the next level.
His Twitter account gave his notice:
“The game of basketball has taken me too (sic) many places and gave me the opportunity to meet some incredible people along the way. It has always been a dream of mine to play the game I loved for so long professionally. After talking with my family and people closest to me, I have decided to forego my senior season and explore my options professionally.”
Evans led the Great American Conference in scoring in 2018-2019 with 24.3 points per game.
