CSFL coaches pick NWOSU as 2011 preseason favorite

Oklahoma schools were picked to take the top four spots in the Central States Football League this season.

Last season’s champion, Northwestern, garnered the top spot with eight first place votes and 41 points overall.

Southern Nazarene, which is coming off its best season in school history, received the other two first place votes and grabbed 34 points.  The Crimson Storm was picked second in the poll.

Langston finished third in the poll, coming in behind the two CSFL foes that beat them in 2010.  Bacone College was fourth.

Southwestern Assemblies of God and Texas College completed the poll in fifth and sixth place, respectively.
