This week’s Oklahoma college Players of the Week, presented by First United Bank, are Hailey Tucker, SWOSU, and Chandler Rickey, OBU.
Hailey Tucker, junior, Southwestern (Bartlesville H.S.)
Tucker continues to lead SWOSU through GAC play and the Lady Dawgs are now 6-0 in the league. The junior averaged 21.5 ppg in wins over Southern Arkansas and Arkansas-Monticello. Tucker also averaged 9.0 rebounds per game, 3.0 assists, 2.5 blocks and 1.0 steals.
Chandler Rickey, senior, Oklahoma Baptist (Broken Bow H.S.)
It is typical to see Rickey fill out a stat line. The senior did it again in the first week of the new year. He had double-doubles in conference contests with 27 points and 12 rebounds against Arkansas Tech and 21 and 10 in a win over Harding. Rickey also had seven blocks in the two games.
