Shock continues to trim training camp roster

Tulsa Shock

The Tulsa Shock is getting closer to hitting the 12-person roster it will take into the 2014 regular season.

The organization waived Nicole Powell on Monday.  Powell played in  32 games for the Shock in 2013 and averaged 6.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.

The Shock cut Amber Dvorak on May 7.  The centre from Drury University was signed as a free agent to a training camp contract in April.  In her two preseason games with the Shock, Dvorak averaged 4.0 points and 1.5 rebounds per game.
