UCO release
The University of Central Oklahoma has experienced a setback in its fundraising for a new baseball stadium and is now working on developing a new plan for the facility.
In June, UCO Athletics announced a signed agreement for a $13.5 million gift from an anonymous donor, specifically pledged to build a new baseball stadium. In August, the university was notified that the donor is unable to meet the expectations of the agreement.
UCO Athletics remains committed to moving forward in efforts to raise funds for a new baseball stadium and other athletic programs through the Complete the Dream campaign.
Completion of the UCO Sports Performance Center, currently under construction, will not be affected by this development.
