Playing in the BOK Center has been good for the Shock this season. Tulsa held Seattle to less than 50 points in a 68-45 win to move to 2-1 on the year.
It’s the first time since the franchise moved to Tulsa that it has had a winning record.
Plenette Pierson and Odyssey Sims shared a game-high 12 points apiece.
Skylar Diggins and Riquna Williams each had 11 points. Diggins crossed 1,000 points for career with her effort.
The Shock dominated throughout, holding the Storm to shooting just 24 percent from the field.
And Tulsa took advantage on the offensive end as well. The Shock used a 16-point run to go up 21-4 in the first quarter and owned a 40-15 lead at the half.
None of Seattle’s starters had more than six points in the game and Renee Montgomery came off the bench to score a team-high 10 points.
Courtney Paris, who has started all three games this season, had no points, but pulled down 11 boards in the win.
Tulsa next takes on the San Antonio Stars on the road on Sunday. Tip time is 3:30 p.m.
