Seven of the 12 Corn Bible Academy football players for the 2016 season were recognized with all district honors. These all district honors are nominated by the coaches and voted on by all of the district coaches.

Two of the seniors have already been selected by the coaches to attend the Eight-Man All-Star Game to be held this summer in Miami, OK. Three other seniors were selected to be alternates to the Eight-Man All-Star game.

“We are so proud of each player’s individual accomplishments this year,” head coach Todd Smith said. “However, what we are most proud of is the fact that these awards were given not because you sought after individual recognition, but rather that you put the team goals before your individual goals. This is truly why the motto you picked for your season “Brothers” fit our football team this year.

“Each of you sacrificed through very tough workouts and tough circumstances with only 12 players all year so that the team could achieve success. We, as coaches, believe that this is the greatest recognition that could be given to our team, and because of that, all of our athletes deserve to be recognized.

“Thank you for living out the directions given to us by our coach and Savior Jesus when He said to humble yourselves and put others interests above your own. We are very proud of you, and we will always be brothers.”
