Southwestern defensive lineman Devin Benton was named to the Daktronics All-America Football Team in a release on Tuesday.
Benton was one of three players from Oklahoma teams to make the NCAA Division II All-Super Region 3 team. Â Benton landed on the first team, as did Southeastern punter Jared Heim. Â East Central defensive lineman Daniel Holland was placed on the second team.
Benton has collected numerous honors for his play in his senior season, including Defensive Player of the Year in the Great American Conference.
