Schrock did it again on Friday with another complete game – the seventh straight during this stretch – to pick up her 32nd win this season.
Central (49-11) next plays on Sunday. With a win, the Bronchos advance to the NCAA Division II softball championship game. And because they haven’t yet lost in this round, the Bronchos will have two games to win one.
Kacie Edwards and Kaylee Brunson got their bats revved up. Brunson was 3 for 4 on the day with an RBI, while Edwards went 3 for 3, including 2 RBIs and her 20th homerun on the year. It was more than enough run support for Schrock.
