Cowboys drop in AP poll despite two wins last week

Oklahoma State fell to the 24th spot in the latest AP poll, though the Cowboys won both contests it played last week.

OSU traded places with Wichita State in the recent NCAA Division I men’s basketball poll.

Indiana remains at the top of the poll, where the Hoosiers have been all season.

The Cowboys (7-1) beat South Florida, 61-49, and Missouri State, 62-42.  These were the first two games played since OSU suffered its first defeat of the season, a 10-point loss to then-undefeated Virginia Tech.

Oklahoma State next takes the court Saturday as Central Arkansas come to Gallagher-Iba Area.
