TULSA – Tulsa Shock guard Skylar Diggins will miss tonight’s game in Seattle due to a knee sprain she suffered in Sunday night’s game versus the Storm at the BOK Center.
Diggins, the 2014 WNBA Most Improved Player of the Year award recipient, left the game with 44 seconds remaining on the clock and did not return.
She did not travel with the team to Seattle and will not be on the Shock’s current four-game road trip so that she can be evaluated by doctors. Her status is expected to be updated toward the end of next week.
Prior to her injury Diggins was the team’s leader in minutes per game, averaging 32, and in scoring averaging 17.8 points per game.
