ORU defeated UTA, 84-76, in Arlington in the first round of the CIT. The win marked the first postseason victory for the program since 1975.
Four Golden Eagles had 15 points or more, led by Warren Niles with 24.
Steven Roundtree had a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards. And Shawn Glover almost had one of his own, scoring 18 points and pulling down eight rebounds.
Oral Roberts (19-14) will host California-Irvine on Monday at 7 p.m.
