Northeastern State’s Gipson to retire

Northeastern State University announced Tuesday that long-time head women’s basketball coach, Randy Gipson, is going to retire.

Gipson has been the head coach of the NSU women’s basketball program for 18 season. He compiled a record of 315-205 at the school to go with an overall career record of 605-282.

Coming into this year, he was ranked as the 33rd winningest active coach in D-II and is the all-time leader in wins at NSU.

The retirement will be formally announced at a press conference on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
