OBU moves up in cross country regional rankings

SHAWNEE – Coming off their third win of the season, Oklahoma Baptist women’s cross country has risen to No. 3 in the latest edition of the USTFCCCA Central Region rankings. The Lady Bison are also ranked No. 19 in the all of Division II.
The Lady Bison turned in an average time of 18:10.48, the third-fastest average time in program history, while placing all five scoring runners in the top 11 at the California State-Fullerton Titan Invitational last Friday. Sydney Lawrence finished second overall and first among scoring runners at the meet with a time of 17:27.96.
Oklahoma Baptist remain the highest-ranked team in the regional rankings from the Great American Conference, as well as the state of Oklahoma.
Oklahoma Baptist is off this weekend in preparation for the Great American Conference Championships in Edmond on Saturday, Nov. 3.
