OCU Cheer, Dance and SGU Cheer are headed to Iowa for NAIA National Invitational

The 12 cheer teams and 12 dance teams to compete in the 2016 NAIA National Invitational competition have been announced.

Oklahoma City won both the cheer competition and the dance competition in the South Qualifier and earned automatic bids to the national level.

And Oklahoma will have another representative on the national level as St. Gregory’s picked up an at-large bid as well. The Cavaliers finished fifth in the South Region and are one of four teams from the region to earn an at-large bid, showing the strength of the qualifiers from the South.

The national competition will be held Mar. 11-12 at the Quad City River Center in Davenport, Iowa.
