OCU women back at top of the poll, but not alone

Often there are ties in polls released as teams earn the same amount of the points given, but rarely does it happen at the top of the poll.  It did this week.

Oklahoma City and Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) each received 276 points in this week’s poll and share the No. 1 ranking for the NAIA’s Division I women’s basketball poll.

The Stars, who were ranked third last week, took down the previous No. 1, Lubbock Christian, 74-60 on Saturday.

OCU (18-2) grabbed five first-place votes, while FHU (21-1) got six first-place votes.

Rogers State ist he only other Oklahoma school in the Top 25 this week.  The Hillcats moved up one spot from last week to No. 15, and have been ranked each week this season.
