There are still opportunities for some of the state best seniors to showcase their football talents to those at the next level and 10 players from Oklahoma schools will be playing Saturday at one of those.

The Collegiate Development Football League is once again hosting its National Scouting Showcase weekend with many bowl games to take place this weekend in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Four schools from Oklahoma are sending a total of 10 players to represent themselves at the D2 vs. NAIA Challenge. These players, along with 87 others, will have the opportunity to have at least one more college football game and also give scouts from many professional football organizations a chance to see them on the field.

The D2 vs. NAIA Showcase is set to kickoff at 4 p.m. EST at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium. It will be preceded by the D3 Senior Classic at 12:30 p.m. and followed by the FCS Senior Scout Bowl at 7:30 p.m.

Langston sends four to the bowl game to play on the NAIA side: quarterback Mark Wright Jr., running back Bruce Thompson, linebacker Christian Minies and defensive back Sidtrell Grayson.

Southeastern and Oklahoma Panhandle are each represented by two players. Storm linebacker Kevin Jones and receiver Kaymon Farmer and Aggie tight end J.B. Frontz and receiver Andrew Hernandez are on the D2 roster.

Also representing Division II are Northeastern State linebacker Kenneth Davis and Northwestern quarterback and All-OSN Offensive Player of the Year Reid Miller.
