Oklahoma Wesleyan, Southern Nazarene in NCCAA rankings

The National Christian College Athletic Association released its rankings on Thursday.  Two schools from Oklahoma cracked into the Top 10 in the Women’s Basketball Division I rankings.

Oklahoma Wesleyan (23-4, 15-1 MCAC) have jumped to the No. 7 spot in the poll.  The Lady Eagles have clinched the conference title in the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference.  OKWU will host the south tournament of the MCAC postseason event.

Southern Nazarene cracked the Top 10 at No. 10.  The Crimson Storm (14-9, 11-6 GAC) is in fifth place in the Great American Conference in its first year playing at the NCAA Division II level.  Though ineligible this year to compete in the conference tournament, SNU is making its presence felt in the GAC.

Both schools will participate in the NCCAA postseason tournament as a part of the Central region.
