Oral Roberts named NCSA College of the Month

ORU Athletics

TULSA – Oral Roberts University has been named Next College Student Athlete Division I College of the Month for October 2020.

Every month, NCSA’s Colleges of the Month list highlights outstanding college athletic programs at each division level that are utilizing the Recruit Match platform to draw interest from potential recruits.

Each month, NCSA tallies which college has received the most NCSA favorites from platform users at each division level. When an NCSA user has favorited a college, it signifies their strong interest in that school and provides a snapshot of which athletic programs are staying active on the NCSA platform by drawing recruiting interest, logging profile views and messaging potential recruits.

This activity also provides insight into how colleges are recruiting right now. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, college recruiting has largely moved away from events and in-person meets to online activity. For example, the recruiting dead period has been extended to January 1, 2020, for all NCAA D1 sports. Many colleges have adjusted by moving their recruiting online with NCSA.
